Hello, I am Jo. I have been with Flower Pots for the past 8 years, 5 of which have been in management.

I pride myself on excellent communication, building strong relationships with our families and ensuring we create a safe, secure and happy environment for children to flourish.

I have undertaken various training, including designated safeguarding lead, therapeutic approaches to behaviour, SENCO training and more.

Hello, I am Danielle, Co- Manager at Apsley. I hold a Level 4 qualification in Early Years and bring many years of experience working with children and families. Throughout my career, I have worked in nursery settings and most recently as a nanny, giving me a broad understanding of children’s individual needs and development.

I am passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to thrive. I enjoy building strong relationships with children and their families and am committed to supporting each child’s learning and development through engaging, child-led experiences.

Hi, I’m Tia. I am the Deputy Manager at the Apsley site of Flower Pots Day Nursery. I began my career in the Baby Room, where I worked for just over a year after completing my Level 3 qualification at college. I was then promoted to Classroom Leader before being offered the role of Deputy Manager.

I enjoy organisation and supporting my team, fostering a positive environment that provides high-quality care while helping every child reach their full learning and developmental potential.

Hi, I’m Holly, the Deputy Manager at Apsley. I’ve been part of the Flowerpots family team since 2022, starting as a Nursery Practitioner before progressing to Room Leader, Unit Manager and now Deputy Manager. I’m really proud of my journey and love being able to support both the children and our team every day.

I have a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and love creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, happy, and supported as they explore, learn, and grow. One of my favourite parts of my role is building strong relationships with children, their families and my colleagues, and supporting each child through their early years journey.

I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Flowerpots team and feel lucky to play a role in helping children grow in confidence, develop new skills and reach their milestones every day.

Younger Baby Room

Our baby room offers a calm and spacious environment where children can safely explore and develop at their own pace. With soft flooring throughout and a wide range of engaging toys, babies are supported in their physical and sensory development, while a separate sleep room ensures they can rest comfortably when needed.

Older Baby Room

Our older baby room follows a more structured daily routine, helping children build confidence and familiarity as they grow. At this stage, children are encouraged to spend more time exploring outdoor environments, developing imaginative play skills, and engaging in a wider range of adult-led activities that support their learning and development.

Toddler Room

The toddler room provides a bright, open space where children can play, explore, and begin to develop independence. With both soft play areas and tabletop activities, children are encouraged to choose their own experiences, supporting confidence, communication, and early social skills. In this room, we also have facilities for nappy changing and toilet training.

Pre-School

Our pre-school room focuses on building independence and confidence through a variety of engaging activities. With a dedicated book corner and role-play area, children are encouraged to explore their imagination, develop early literacy skills, and enjoy learning in a fun and supportive environment.

Classroom

The classroom prepares children for the transition to school, with a strong focus on independence and key life skills. Through activities such as writing, listening exercises, and practical routines, children develop confidence while continuing to learn through play and interactive experiences.

Outdoor Spaces

Our nursery features two separate garden areas, including a dedicated space for babies with soft artificial grass and easy access from the baby room. The main garden supports physical development through a range of equipment and activities, giving children daily opportunities to explore and play outdoors.

Nursery Fees

Our Apsley nursery offers a full-day session running from 08:00 to 18:00, with flexible options available for earlier drop-offs from 07:00 and later collections until 18:30.

We provide a range of funded childcare options, including 30 hours for children aged 9 months to 2 years, as well as 15 and 30 hours funding for 3 and 4 year olds. Our team will be happy to talk you through availability and help you find the best option for your family.
