A dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager with over 14 years in early years education, including 8 years of loyal service within the same organisation. Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, maintaining exceptional standards of care and education, and building strong relationships with children, families, and staff. Passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports every child’s development, alongside a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and best practice. Committed to continuous improvement, staff development, and delivering outstanding childcare provision.

I am a skilled leader with excellent communication skills and a BA (Hons) degree in Early Years, graduating in 2023. I am qualified to Level 6 and possess valuable experience working with children aged 0-5 years, ensuring they are cared for in a happy, safe, and stimulating environment.

I am passionate about providing first-class childcare and maintaining an enthusiastic attitude toward ensuring good practice across all areas of the nursery. This includes everything from planning quality activities to communicating effectively with parents and liaising with staff.

I have proudly been part of the nursery for the past eight years, beginning my journey as an apprentice and progressing to the role of Deputy Manager. Over the years, I have gained a wealth of hands-on experience, developing both my professional skills and my understanding of early childhood development.

My journey has allowed me to grow alongside the children and families we support, and I am passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging environment where every child can thrive. I take great pride in knowing that I play a key role in helping children learn, develop, and build the foundations for their future.

Younger Baby Room

Our younger baby room provides a peaceful and comforting space where babies can settle into nursery life at their own pace. Daily routines are carefully tailored around each child’s individual needs, with dedicated areas for feeding, sleeping, and sensory exploration to help babies feel safe, secure, and supported throughout the day.

Older Baby Room

In our older baby room, children begin developing greater independence through more structured routines and engaging play experiences. With regular opportunities for outdoor play, social interaction, and creative activities, children are encouraged to explore their surroundings, build confidence, and strengthen early communication and developmental skills.

Toddler Room

The toddler room is designed to encourage creativity and independence through a variety of hands-on activities. From mark making and crafts to group circle times, children build communication skills and confidence while enjoying a mix of structured and child-led play. The children stay in this room for all of their meals and snacks. They all sit around the tables together while we promote good sitting and independent feeding using a spoon and fork.

Pre-School

In the pre-school room, children develop independence through choice-led activities and everyday routines. With opportunities for role play, creative exploration, and practical skills such as self-care, children build confidence while preparing for their next stage. The children have unlimited access to a water fountain, so they can drink from it or fill their own named cups. We also have sensor taps, so the children can wash their own hands.

Classroom

The classroom provides a focused yet engaging environment where children prepare for school from the age of 3. With access to technology, phonics learning, and creative spaces, children develop key skills while building confidence through discussion, shared experiences, and structured activities. During our circle times, we also like to discuss what they have been doing at weekends or non-nursery days.

Outdoor Spaces

Our extensive garden offers a wide range of opportunities for outdoor learning and play. From riding tracks and balancing areas to planting spaces and role-play zones, children can explore, take on new challenges, and develop physical skills in a stimulating natural environment.

To the side of the garden, we also have a “vegetable/plant patch” that the children enjoy watering and watching grow. Once the vegetables have grown, the children will pick them and try them for their snacks.

Nursery Fees

Our Prestwood nursery offers full-day sessions from 08:00 to 18:00, with the option for earlier starts from 07:30 and later collections up to 18:30.

We provide a range of funded childcare options, including support for younger children as well as 15 and 30 hours funding for 3 and 4-year-olds. Our team will be happy to guide you through the options available.

There is a great outside space where the children play every day, which is very important for us. The children are also fed healthy, balanced meals – also very important! Our child started in the baby room and is now in the classroom – we have never had a problem in 2.5 years – they truly are amazing!
