At Flower Pots Day Nursery, we believe that being part of a nursery community means supporting one another through both the joyful moments and the more challenging times.
Maddie, who attends our Apsley nursery, has Rett Syndrome, and her family are currently fundraising for an important piece of specialist equipment that could make a meaningful difference to her everyday life.
We would love to bring our Flower Pots families and wider community together to help support their fundraising efforts.
Supporting Our Apsley Family
Maddie’s family are currently raising money towards a vital piece of equipment.
This equipment could provide important support for her development and daily life, but specialist equipment can be extremely expensive. The family have therefore created a GoFundMe page where they have shared more about Maddie, her journey with Rett Syndrome and the difference this equipment could make.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help the family move closer to their fundraising goal.
About Rett Syndrome
Rett Syndrome is a rare genetic condition that affects brain development and can result in significant physical and communication difficulties. It mainly affects girls, although every child’s experience of the condition is different.
Children with Rett Syndrome may require additional assistance with movement, communication and everyday activities. Specialist equipment can provide valuable support, helping children to experience greater comfort, independence and opportunities to engage with the people and world around them.
